Starting Over After a spontaneous Awakening

Building a Business, a Practice, and a New Life - All at Once

If you’ve ever had a Kundalini awakening, you know it’s not just a “spiritual experience.” It’s a full-on life reset. A cosmic wrecking ball. Everything that used to make sense suddenly doesn’t. Everything you thought you wanted… dissolves. And somehow, while navigating this inner earthquake, you’re still expected to do it all and live in the 3D world. Pay bills. Build a business. Find purpose. Stay sane.

That’s where I am. Right now, I’m rebuilding everything — my business, my spiritual practice, and honestly, my entire life.

The Foundations I'm Building

I’m working like crazy trying to lay the foundation:

  • My Shopify store Shop.AuthenticCourtney.com— where you’ll find my creative projects, love rocks, and ways to directly support this journey of transformation I’m on
  • My website AuthenticCourtney.com— a digital home to share my story, offer guidance to fellow travelers, and create a space that resonates with who I’m becoming
  • My book 50 Letters to Love— the project closest to my heart, where I’m channeling hard-earned wisdom from the other side of awakening (your support here fuels not just a book, but a mission)

At the same time, I’m maintaining a spiritual practice because without it, this whole thing would crumble. I meditate daily. I listen. I ground myself when everything feels like it’s spinning.

The Untold Truth of Awakening

But here’s what no one talks about enough: It’s profoundly lonely. You lose people. Friends fall away. You end up on an island where hardly anyone really gets you anymore. They either can’t handle your transformation, or they’re still playing by the old rules you’ve outgrown. Some days it feels like building a new life in a foreign country where no one speaks your language.

And then there’s the money. I’m scraping by most days. I’ve learned all the lessons I care to learn about being broke, struggling, and surviving. I’m ready to graduate from that phase — but without a financial safety net or access to loans, I’ve had no choice but to fund this rebuild myself. One step, one sale, one ounce of faith at a time.

The Real Challenge

I know what to do. I see the vision. It’s the sheer weight of starting over while living between two worlds — the physical and the spiritual. How do you start a business when some days your body feels like it’s processing lifetimes of karma? How do you promote your work when you’ve outgrown the old marketing games and superficiality? How do you start over, for real, when you’re not just chasing success — you’re trying to create something meaningful, healing, and conscious and how do you do all that when you are scraping by?  I’m working ALL the time, doing a lot.  I’m exhausted.

This is the razor’s edge I’m walking. And if you’re in the same spot, just know — It’s not that you’re failing. It’s that you’re doing one of the hardest things a person can do: Rebuilding your outer world to reflect your inner evolution.

So… I’m taking it one aligned action at a time. Some days it’s website updates. Some days it’s writing a chapter of my book. Some days it’s just breathing and trusting the process.

An Invitation to Co-Create

If you’re navigating this too, I see you. You’re not alone. And maybe there’s a reason our paths are crossing now.

Three ways you can join this journey:

  1. Grab a shirt from my shop
  2. Support the book
  3. Sponsor a bill
  4. Reach out about collaboration

We’re not just building businesses. We’re not just awakening. We’re building new realities — and it’s time we found each other.

Follow the journey. Support the vision. Join the rebirth.
