A little reminder to look up.
Still Blue is an original Authentic Courtney nature photograph captured from ground level, looking through sunlit wild grass into an expansive blue sky filled with soft white clouds.
There is something wonderfully simple about changing your perspective. Look at the world from a different angle and suddenly something ordinary becomes extraordinary.
This photograph is about openness, possibility, beauty, and remembering that there is always something worth looking up for.

THE STORY BEHIND STILL BLUE
I took this photograph lying close to the earth, looking upward through the grass.
From down there, the ordinary suddenly looked completely different.
The grass became enormous. The sky seemed endless. And it reminded me how dramatically our experience can change when we simply change where we’re looking from.
That photograph later inspired the words:
“Rock Bottom Still Has a View.”
For me, that isn’t really a statement about rock bottom. It’s a statement about possibility.
Wherever you happen to be standing—or lying—there is still a sky above you. There is still beauty to notice, another perspective to discover, and another direction to look.
Sometimes you just have to look up.
